On December 16, 2015 an on-going large level Methamphetamine investigation conducted by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and the Paris Police Department Narcotics Division resulted in the execution of a search warrant and the arrest of two individuals at a residence in the 400blk of 24th S.E. in Paris.
The search resulted in the seizure of a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana. Narcotic Detectives also seized over $3500.00 dollars, and a Chrysler 300 passenger car.
Two individuals were arrested in result of this warrant: Destin Davis w/m, and Geneva Davis w/f. Both were charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >4 grams <200 grams, a first degree felony, and both were charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. They were transported to the Lamar County Jail.
Justice of the Peace, Gene Hobbs arraigned these subjects and each received bonds totaling $21,000.00 dollars.
This investigation is the result of good investigative work and cooperation between our Narcotic divisions that got these individuals and the narcotics they distribute off our streets and out of our neighborhoods.
