wigley001Royce Wigley, 76 of Arthur City, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

Funeral services have been set for Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Kelly and Rev. Chris Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at Chicota Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

He was born in Chicota, Texas on November 6, 1939 to George and Drucilla Jordan Wigley. He married Barbara Vanderburg of Chicota on February 10, 1961 in Rockwall, Texas. He was a Diesel Mechanic in the Dallas area for many years before moving to Shreveport, Louisiana as a Fleet Manager for Crane Carrier. In 1976 they moved back to Arthur City where he opened up his own business, Stateline Diesel Service. He was always outdoors where he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and reminiscing of the days past.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; children, Shan Campbell and husband Brent of Springfield, Missouri, Royce Trigg Wigley of Arthur City, Dana Hughes and husband Brad of Gunter, Texas; grandchildren, Erica Campbell, Bridget Campbell, Josh Wigley, Blaine Wigley, Ryan Wigley, Kylie Hughes, Weston Hughes; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, James Wigley of Arthur City; sister, Shirley Crawford of Artesia, New Mexico; many nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Drucilla Wigley; sister, Virda Coffman; brother, Pat Wigley. Serving as

Pallbearers will be Josh Wigley, Brent Campbell, Brad Hughes, Shane Carpenter, Scotty Vanderburg, Cory Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Campbell and Bud Sumrow.

cookeCaleb Shane Cooke, 27 day old infant son of Hunter Cooke and Carol Shawhart, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the residence. Caleb was born on November 23, 2015 in Paris. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Dr. Tim Reger officiating.

Caleb is survived by his parents Hunter Cooke and Carol Shawhart; brother Aiden Knight; Grand-parents Jeff and Sandra Shawhart, Michael Cooke, Nancy Pillsbury, Charlie and Donna Dake, Audy Tankersley; great-grandparents Paul and Patsy Taylor , Bill and Linda Woods and Vicky Barber and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
