Paris Police responded to a burglary of a business at 3850 Lamar Ave. at 7:54 A.M. on Monday, January 11, 2016.
It was reported that the manager of the Dollar Tree arrived at work and found that someone had broken into the safe that was located in the office.
Paris Police Officers discovered that the suspect(s) had pried open the back door to gain entry into the building. Once inside, the suspect(s) used hand tools to pry open the safe.
The manager advised that approximately $1,000 was taken from the safe.
The incident is under investigation.
