Inez White Allcorn 103, of Paris, died at 9:58 AM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at The Home Place of Paris. A graveside service is set for 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche, Texas with her son, James B. Allcorn Jr. officiating. There will be no formal visitation hour observed. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Allcorn was born April 11, 1912 in Sidney, Texas to George Walker and Maude Strickland White. She graduated as valedictorian of her class from Sidney High School and received the nursing certification from the Chicago School of Nursing. Inez married James Barrett Allcorn Sr. on December 31, 1944 and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, James B. Allcorn Jr. and wife, Cindy of Paris; three granddaughters, Ann Marie Allcorn Love and husband, Andy of Dallas, Audrey Allcorn Mathieu and husband, Miles of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Ashley Allcorn Januszewski and husband, Joe of Dallas; and a sister, Pauline McDaniel of Comanche, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Lovelace Dwayne Parsons, 80, was called home to rest Sunday, January 17, 2016.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016, 11:00 am, at Belk Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Hutchison officiating. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service time at the church. Interment will follow at West Post Oak Cemetery.
Dwayne served his country in the Army before beginning his lifelong career in law enforcement. He spent the first years of his career with the Brazoria County, TX , Oklahoma City Police Department, and retired as sergeant after 20 years with the Augusta-Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Opal M. Parsons, of Augusta Ga; 5 children, Teresa Parsons Thomas of Augusta Ga, Billy Parsons, Judy Oglesbee, Jeanie Finley and Darren Parsons, all of Oklahoma City; Brother, James Owen Parsons, of Oklahoma City, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones. He was reunited in heaven with his parents, the late Bernice Parsons Sheppard and James Loveless Parsons, and daughter Julie Langford.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Billy Parsons, Cody Parsons, Chris Parsons, Josh Finley, Jay Nelson, Justin Parsons.
