MARGARET M. GRIFFITH, 95, of Paris, passed from this life Monday January 25, 2015 at Brentwood Terrace Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.
Margaret was born August 18, 1920 in Honey Grove, a daughter of Charlie and Chloe Armstrong Justus. She attended Ubell schools, and was employed by Nahas of Texas, and later Hollywood Vasserette. She was of the Assembly of God faith. On August 18, `1967 She married Tollie G. Griffith in Hugo, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Wilson Shepherd.
Survivors include a grandson, Skip Shepherd, of Paris; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea Shepherd, Sabrina Shepherd, Maddie Shepherd; a great-great-granddaughter, Allison Shepherd; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Shepherd Henderson, of Tyler.
