Paris Police Warn of Increase in Burglaries

Crime Stoppers Logo. 300 dpiParis Police have responded to 40 burglaries since January 1st where the suspect(s) are kicking in the doors of residences and then rummaging through all the drawers and closets.

The victims are advising that these burglaries are usually occurring during the daytime hours. Normally only cash has been reported as taken.

The latest reported burglary was reported at 7:12 P.M. on January 27, 2016, in the 1100 block of Pine Bluff Street. Again the drawers and closets were rummaged through but reported as stolen were two pistols.

If you have information as to who may be involved in committing these burglaries, please contact the Paris Police Department and give that information.
