Edna Earl Lee, 97, of Milton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at her home.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4th, at East Post Oak Cemetery with Rev. Fred Fangio officiating and honors being rendered by Deport Chapter #1045 Order of the Eastern Star. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee, the daughter of Claude & Achsa Pratt Jaynes, was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Blossom.
Her career as a lunchroom cook at East Lamar High School and then Prairiland High School spanned over twenty years before her retirement. She was a member of the East Post Oak Baptist Church and the Deport Chapter #1045 Order of the Eastern Star.
On Dec. 23, 1936, she married Frank Lee building 67 years of family and memories before his death on Jan. 8, 2004.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Joe Dan Lee, a grandson, Tony Ellis, a son-in-law, Ed Johnston, two brothers, Jim and J. P. and four sisters, Margaret, Claudell, Sybil and Mary.
Survivors include one son, Ollie Lee & wife Ruth of Paris, three daughters, Ruth Johnston of Paris, Ruby Lee of Dallas and Anita Bowling of Pattonville, grandchildren, Joe Lee & wife Charla, Sheri Gist, Vicki Reves & husband Steven,
T J Chappell & husband Jimmy, Barry Johnston & wife Anya and Kay Ledet & husband Jonathan, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, three sisters, Susie Evans & husband Glen, Patsy Merritt & husband Donald and Glenda Woodall along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: James Lee, James Freelen, Leslie Taylor, Robert Norwood, Darrell Vaughan and Don South. Honorary bearers will be: Joe Lee, Ted Flatt and Jonathan Ledet.

Onita McCool Elliott, 69, of Reno passed away Sunday January 31, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. There will be no set visitation.
Onita was born on June 5, 1946 in Paris the daughter of Grover and Beulah Black McCool. She retired after 30 years from Sara Lee. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Wayne McCool.
Survivors include her husband Gary Dean Elliott; mother-in-law Jean Elliott; step-daughter Keri Elliott; brothers-in-law Richard Elliott, Robert Elliott and Thomas Elliott.

Thomas Delmer “Dale” Lollar, 85, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. George Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lollar, the son of Thomas Kimsey Lollar & Ener Melvin Williamson Lollar, was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Talihina, OK.
As a young man he worked at a nursery in Kent, WA before beginning his career as a hydraulic mechanic with Gardner Denver-Copper Industries where he retired. During his working years he always had a mechanic business. Here in Lamar County he & his wife, Doris, owned and operated the Country Jubilee in Faught. There they had singings each Saturday night.
He served in the U. S. Army from which he was honorably discharged.
On Aug. 11, 1951, he married Doris Marie Scott, building 54 years of family and memories before her death on Sept. 9, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, Courtney Calhoun and Matthew Wayne Calhoun, and eight siblings, Alford, Clifford, Ollie, Ivan, Icey, Alvis, T. K. and Christopher.
Survivors include three children, Pamela Lusk of Mesquite, Roland Dean Lollar of Blossom and Delores Maxine Calhoun & husband Jess of Kaufman, grandchildren, Jennifer Ivey & husband Richard, Jera Davidson & husband Jeffrey, Jonell Lusk, Jacqueline Lusk & Shawn Pederson, and Russell Calhoun, great grandchildren, Jerica Davidson, Jacob Davidson, Jackson Ivey, Jessica Davidson, Jaley Davidson, Peighton Pederson, Shawn Pederson, Jr. and Dalton Ivey along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Roland Dean Lollar, Jeffrey Davidson, Shawn Pederson, Richard Ivey, Jacob Davidson and Jackson Ivey.
