In the Presidential Race, Ted Cruz wins the republican primary. Trump took second and Rubio third. For the Democrats, Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders.
Incumbent State Representative Gary VanDeaver beat George Lavender. In the State Senate Race, Bryan Hughes beat Red Brown and David Simpson.
Locally, Ruth Sisson beat Russ Towers for County Clerk and Wes Tidwell won over Jeff Starnes for District Judge.
In other local elections, Bill Strathern was elected as Republican County Chairman, beating challenger Chris Dux.
In the race for County Commissioner, Precinct No. 1, Lawrence Malone beat William Privett. And for Precinct No. 3 Ronnie Bass won over Alan Weatherford
Travis Rhodes beat Randy Boren as the Precinct No. 1 Constable, Steven Hill was elected over James Cole Sain as Precinct No. 3 Constable, and Mike Ford won over Vance Boehler for Precinct No. 2 Constable. In Precinct No. 4, Rick Easterwood defeated Tim Parks. Jimmy Hodges won as Constable, Precinct #5 over Lance Nicholson.
