The Paris City Council will meet in special session on Thursday, September 18th at 5:15pm.
The Council will hold a second public hearing on the City’s proposal to increase tax revenues from the preceding tax year and to set the tax rate for 2014.
Also on the agenda is discussion and possible action on a request from four downtown owners for the temporary removal of electric power lines so that repairs to buildings can progress safely. This item was previously tabled.
The meeting will be held at the City Council Chambers, located at 107 E. Kaufman street. The meeting is open to the public.
