On September 15, 2014 at about 8:25 P.M., Paris Police responded to a call in the 1800 block of NW Loop 286 where it was reported that a white male with no shirt on had just tried to sell the caller some marijuana.
The caller stated that the man was carrying a large jar filled with marijuana and had a large knife.
Officers located 24 year old Joshua Bryan Morris walking in the 1100 block of NW Loop 286 carrying the jar.
Officers observed a large military knife on his belt. The knife was removed from Morris and Morris was placed under arrest.
Morris could not give his address but stated that he lived in an apartment at the top of the hill pointing to the west. Morris had no identification and had given officers a different name.
It was later found that Morris had a drivers license out of Pennsylvania. Morris was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
