After Joshua Bryan Morris’ arrest on September 15, 2014 for possession of marijuana, Morris advised detectives that he was growing marijuana in his apartment in the 1600 block of NW Loop 286.
Morris gave investigators consent to search his apartment. Inside, investigators allegedly found numerous marijuana plants.
Detectives collected the plants along with packaged marijuana, firearms, and equipment used in the cultivation of the growing plants.
Morris was charged with an additional charge of possession of marijuana. Morris was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
