United Way of Lamar CountyThe United Way of Lamar County’s 2015 Campaign is in full swing, energized by the members of its 2015 Campaign Committee. Led by Campaign Chair Zach Saffle, Pierson Fendley Insurance – Committee members include:

Industry Division (Goal $376,500) – Sue Labbe, Turner Industries

Commercial Division (Goal $69,000) – Cindy Ringwald, Liberty National Bank

Government Division (Goal $11,000) – Det. Tommy Moore, City of Paris Police Department

Business/Professional Division (Goal $33,000) – Greg Wilson, Lamar National Bank/EParis.com

Representatives from our 22 partner agencies: American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boy Scouts of NETSEO, Boys and Girls Club, CASA for KIDS, Children’s Advocacy Center, Dylan’s Drivers, ETCADA, Girl Scouts of NETX, Habitat for Humanity, Imagination Library (Paris Kiwanis), Innovative Enterprises (LRMHMR), Lamar County Child Welfare Board, Lamar County Coalition of Education, Business and Industry, Lamar County Human Resources Council (Meals on Wheels), Lamar County Literacy Council, New Hope Center, Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society, RSVP, SAFE-T, The King’s Daughters and Sons and The Salvation Army.

School Division (Goal $33,000)

Paris ISD – Kelly Pickle

North Lamar ISD – Carla Coleman

Chisum ISD – Tommy Chalaire

Paris Junior College – Kenneth Webb

The team will work with United Way staff members to engage support for the 2015 United Way Campaign from companies and organizations across Lamar County. Their work will be supplemented by community volunteers as they reach out to workers and area businesses to support its impactful work throughout the County.

The 2015 United Way of Lamar County Campaign officially kicked off September 11, with a Volunteer Fair, followed by the 4th Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament. An amazing kick-off with almost $17,000 pledged toward our $550,000 goal.

 Friday, November 7, 9 am – sponsored by New Hope Center, 450 4th Street, Paris TX 75460.
