Abel Zane Spencer, newborn son of Adam and Amanda Spencer, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
A graveside service has been set for Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at McDonald Cemetery with Rev. Samuel Evers and Rev. Daniel Hines officiating. No visitation has been scheduled.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Fred and Carolyn Spencer, Mike and Lori Knox, Carolyn Miller; great-grandparents, Mildred Knox, Carol Mason, Betty Hannah; uncles and aunts, Jeff and Christine Spencer and their children, Jaxon and Jacy, Sam and Abby Knox and their daughter Megan, Drew and Brooke Miller and son Logan, and uncle Larry Hughes; and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Coy and Elsie Hughes, Jeff and Bonnie Spencer, Johnathan Knox, Loren Mason.

CLIFFORD EUGENE BRANUM, 74, of Ben Franklin, died at 8:20 AM, Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Roxton with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial was in the Ben Franklin Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Branum was born November 9, 1938 in Ben Franklin to Doris Clifford and Lorene Patricia Boss Branum. He graduated from Roxton High School and Johnson-Wales Junior College in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a sheet metal worker with Local 67 and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Mr. Branum married Ester Rabusa Gador in the Philippines on February 18, 1995.
Mr. Branum is survived by his wife, Ester Branum of Ben Franklin; six children, Lori Stoudt and husband, Henry of Brookline, New Hampshire, Clifford Branum, Jr. and wife, Irma of Amarillo, Texas, Teri Barroso of Brookline, Julie Maria Branum, Elizabeth Ann Branum, and Sarah Anecite Branum, all of Ben Franklin; six grandchildren, Elise, Dan Allen, Kya, Angel, Clifford, III, and Nathan; four sisters, Doris Ann Branum of Amarillo, Carolyn Davis of Texarkana, Texas, Margaret Cox, and Shirley Myers, both of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Charlie E. and Maggie Vaughan Boss and Clifford Anderson and Julie Maroney Branum; and two brothers, Bobby Edwin and Dan Allen Branum.
Pallbearers were Clifford Branum, III, Nathan Branum, Josh Springer, Leland Erwin, Don Shields, and Mark Branum.
