Paris Fire & Rescue Teach Fire Safety at Higgins

Members of Paris Fire Station 1 along with Sparky, the fire and rescue dog, visited Higgins Elementary to talk to the students about fire safety.  

While stopping at each classroom, the firefighters practiced stop, drop and roll with the students and talked about what to do in case of a house fire.  Sparky stressed the importance of calling 911 and students knowing their addresses.
