Charles B. Robison, 68, of Deport, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29th, at Highland Cemetery in Deport with William St. John, Tim Byrd and Ewell Byrd officiating.
Mr. Robison, the son of Harland & Vesta Steele Robison, was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Clemscott, OK.
He worked a number of years in the oil field before beginning his career at Campbell Soup Company which spanned ten years before his retirement. Charles was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Veniece, a brother, Ancel Robison and two sisters, Glenette Newman and Anna Lair.
Survivors include his wife, Lavina Gail Byrd Robison, whom he married in 1972, building forty-two years of family and memories, four children, Melanie Robison of Pattonville, Ina Bullard & husband Steven of Little Elm, Angela Rosson & husband Charles of Broken Bow, OK and Charles M. Robison of Deport, five grandchildren, Jared, Zachery, Marissa, David and Alex along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Rosa Lee Turpin Tucker, 81, of Powderly passed away Wednesday November 26, 2014 at her home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 29, at Restland Cemetery in Roxton with Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham officiating.
She was born December 15, 1932 in Arkansas a daughter of Harvey Dewey Turpin and Daisy Marie (White) Turpin. She married Leslie H. “Buddy” Tucker on Jan. 3, 1948 at Atlas, Texas. She was a housekeeper for the Salvation Army until her health failed her. And she was a homemaker and loved fishing and camping. She was a member of the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Turpin and mother Daisy Marie Turpin Ingram and a brothers Dewey Turpin and J.C. Turpin.
She is survived by children Leslie Tucker, Jr. and wife Kathy, Kathy Thompson and husband Billy; grandchildren, Richard Tucker and wife Cindy, Shane Tucker, Steve Tucker, Rosa Copeland and husband John, Holly Thompson; sister, Evalean Goley of Roanoke, Texas; great grandchildren, Dustin Womack, Dakota Womack, Jamie Womack, R.J. Tucker, Claudia Tucker, Jacob Pierce, Brandon Lester, Callie Tucker, Connor Tucker, and Colby Tucker.

MARGARET L. NORTH, 80, of Paris, passed from this life on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Heritage House of Paris. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday November 29, 2014 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Young and Rodney Rogers officiating.
Margaret was born in the Rockford community of Lamar County on September 9, 1934. She attended County schools, then spent a career of over thirty years with Westinghouse, later Phillips Lighting. She enjoyed needle work such as crocheting and embroidery, and watching television, but her grandchildren and her canine companions were her greatest joys.
Tipper and Skipper were referred to as “Memie’s Girls;” her two beloved pets that she raised. Tipper passed away in 2013 and Skipper in 2014. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her mother Ruby King, and by a brother, Bobby Steve King.
She is survived by two children, Al Calvery and wife Carol, of Bastrop, and Carolyn Gifford Barnett, of Paris; five grandchildren, Tom Calvery, Anna Fowler, Kenda Fortner and husband Earl, Bradley Gifford and wife Jenica, and Jon Lee Barnett; eleven great-grandchildren, Kenyon Fortner, Kason Fortner, Ky Fortner, Aidan Gifford, Adleigh Gifford, Kris Fortner, Spencer Smith, Austin Fortner, Rachel Barnett, Caleb Barnett, and Jon-Michael Barnett and wife Cassie; a great-great-granddaughter, Kyli Fortner; two brothers, Jack King and wife Ruth, of Honey Grove, and John W. King and wife Patsy, of Murray Kentucky; and a sister Bettie Smith Desha, of Tyler.
Named as honorary pallbearers are grandsons Kenyon Fortner, Kason Fortner, Ky Fortner, Aidan Gifford, Seth Rogers, and Nathan Rogers.
Margaret’s family wishes to thank the third floor cardiac care staff of Paris Regional Medical Center, and the staff of Heritage House for their excellent care in helping to make her last days peaceful, comfortable, and filled with love. Extra special love and thanks to her niece Cathy Rogers for her miles of travel and care during her illness.
