A small passenger car collided with an occupied school bus on its route to take children home on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred on northbound Highway 271, as the bus was attempting to turn and head west on FM 1499.
The small, Chevrolet car hit the bus on its backend as the bus was making its turn to go west. The car literally went underneath the bus after the collision.
Although there were children on it when it was hit, thankfully, no one — the driver of the bus, the driver of the car or the children passengers — received injuries during the accident.
