Kevin James Lynch, 35, of Arthur City, Texas was contacted at a motel in the 2500 block of N Main Street by the narcotics division of the Paris Police Department and was found to be in possession of approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine.
The investigation led to the arrest of Lynch’s common law wife, 33 year old Jessica Faye Proske, also of Arthur City, at another motel (in the 2600 block of N Main Street) where she was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Both were charged with two counts of endangering a child when the investigation revealed that both had been smoking the methamphetamine while two small children were present in the room.
Both were later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
