collardPNPatsy Dolores Collard, 72, of Paris, died at 12:10 AM, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Paris Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services are set for 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.  Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Patsy was born July 3, 1941 in Paris to Dub and Edith Taylor Anderson.  She graduated from high school and married Donnie Lee Collard in Hugo, Oklahoma on April 27, 1957.  She was a homemaker and member of Southside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Collard is survived by her husband, Donnie Collard; a daughter, Debra Martinez and husband, Rennie and daughter, Becky Weems and husband, Roger; a granddaughter, Misty Johnson and fiancé, Christopher Rouse and granddaughter, Jennifer Collar and husband, Chad; and two great-grandsons, Braden and Jackson Collar.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Neil Anderson; and her sister, Judy Day.

mable1Mable Doris Hughes Burchinal Lynn, 92, of North Richland Hills, formerly of Deport, passed away Thursday, August 01, 2013, at Green Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3rd at Rockford Cemetery with Rev. Debra May officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mable was born at Taylortown on March 4, 1921 to Mary and William David Hughes.  She attended Hudsonville School through the fifth grade and then moved on to Cunningham where enjoyed playing softball, volleyball & basketball.  She was a beautician for 47 years and enjoyed every minute of it.

On September 16, 1941, she married Isaac Newton Burchinal.   He passed away in November 1975.   In 1990, Mable married Riley Lynn and they resided in Deport.  Sadly, Riley passed away a year later.

She was known for her upbeat spirit and always had a smile on her face.  She was willing to help anyone in any way.  She loved to cook and paint landscape scenes. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Deport.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren.  Marsha and George Lutch of North Richland Hills with their sons  Shawn and Benjamin.   Philip and Raycine Burchinal of Houston and their daughter Tanna who is currently at Clemson University, South Carolina. She is also survived by a number of step-children and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, Ollie Warringer,  Luther Hughes, and Lena Martinez.
