Dorothy Maydell McFatridge, 88, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at the Stillhouse Rehabilitation & Care Center.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. John David Griffith and Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McFatridge, the daughter of Tone & Altona Terry Williams, was born Sept. 2, 1924, in the Frog Hop Community of Lamar County.
She married Wiley McFatridge, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rickey McFatridge on March 7, 2008, and her siblings: Louise Wright, Dovie Brittain, Virginia Bratcher, Houston Williams, Lawrence Williams, Cecil Williams and Roy Williams.
Survivors include two sons; Terry McFatridge of Maxey and Steve McFatridge & wife Nita of Paris, daughter-in-law, Frances McFatridge of Paris, grandchildren; Wesley McFatridge, Jeremy McFatridge & wife Jolynne, Dustin McFatridge, Dakota McFatridge, Jamie McFatridge, Skylar McFatridge and Dalton McFatridge, great grandchildren; Whitney Gibson, Ashley Gibson and Emily Gibson, two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Williams of Paris & Wendall Hill of Caddo Mills along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Dakota McFatridge, Dustin McFatridge, Jeremy McFatridge, Wesley McFatridge, Dalton McFatridge and Mike Gose. Chris Wynn will serve as an honorary bearer.
