The Paris Area Arts Alliance is sponsoring “Dinosaur George”, a world-class traveling prehistoric exhibit of dinosaur fossils. It is one of the largest traveling prehistoric exhibits in North America.
The exhibit will be open to the public 4:00 PM through 7:30 PM, Thursday, March 12, in the North Lamar High School gym. Admission is $1.00 for adults and students. Students who participated with their school during the day are admitted free to the evening event.

- Features the earliest life forms of creatures from the ice age and animals from almost every time period and continent • Includes creatures from “Prehistoric Texas”
- Includes one of the largest T-rex skulls on earth • Contains approximately 300 feet of exhibit items
“Dinosaur George” Blasing is a self taught paleontologist and animal behaviorist with more then 35 years of study and research. Blasing is a public speaker, writer and television personality who has performed live to over 3 million people and has lectured in over 3000 museums, schools and public events. He is the writer, co-creator and host of Jurassic Fight Club on the History Channel.
Students form North Lamar, Paris, Chisum, Roxton, Prairiland, Detroit, Rivercrest and Central Day School will visit the dinosaurs during the school day.
