Sunny skies today and warm temperatures today will give way to the possibility of strong scattered storms overnight and cooler temps on Thursday.
Shortly before midnight there is a good chance of a line of strong thunderstorms moving into Lamar county. Locally heavy rainfall is possible along with hail and strong winds.
Storms should end around 5am early Thursday morning but temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s all day as a cold front moves through.
Warmer temperatures will return by the weekend with high in the 70s and sunny skies.
