Nellie Louise Teakell, 83, of Paris passed away Saturday May 9, 2015 at her home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 13, at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Don Morton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 7-8 p.m.
Nellie was born August 30, 1931 in Linden, Texas a daughter of Robert F. and Ethel F. Woodruff Threatt. She married Emmett Teakell on September 28, 1950. He died February 20, 2001. She was a homemaker and a was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Emmett; a brother and a sister.
She is survived by children Emmett Teakell and wife Jamie, Wynona Aldridge and husband Gene; grandchildren Adam Lee Teakell, Jennifer Diane Teakell, Joshua McQuay Teakell, Jessica Michelle Teakell, Pam Teakell, Christopher Teakell, Jessica Nicole Farmer and husband Johnny, Staci Hagood and husband Anthony, Bryan Allen, Randall Allen, Joseph Aldridge, Jeremy Aldridge and Misti Fernandez; 22 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; and a brother Wesley Threatt of Washington.
