Tuesday morning, May 12th, at 8:30am the early ballot board convened to determine if the one provisional ballot would count or not in the very close race for the Paris City Council seat in District 5.
That one provisional vote did count and it was for incumbent Matt Frierson.
Frierson won the District 5 seat with 50.39% of the vote. Challenger Linda Su Knox had 44.88% of the vote and Grover Michael Glatfelter took just 4.72%.
