Spencer Chase Nye 20, “Spence”, left this earth for his heavenly home, Monday, May 11, 2015. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM, Friday, May 15, 2015 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Spencer was born January 21, 1995 in Paris to Chad Lee and Cindy Renee Bridgers Nye. He was employed at the local AT&T store and loved lifting weights and anything physical fitness related. Spencer also enjoyed his music.
Spencer is survived by his parents, Chad and Cindy Nye of Paris; a brother, Josh Davis of California; one sister, Tiffany Marie Davis of Bainbridge Island, Washington; grandparents, Gary and Mary Dollins and Charles Bridgers and Oleta Sloan, all of Arthur City; and numerous cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mason Brock Nye on September 29, 2013; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Bridgers and his paternal grandfather, Nolan Hinkle.
Pallbearers will be Kaden Murray, Brandon Ortega, Hunter Tankersley, Dain Thurman, Cade Stockton, and Kellen Stringfellow.
