Paris Police were summoned at 7:57 A.M. on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 to the 1300 block of E Price Street in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle.
It was reported that a 2008 blue Ford Mustang was taken sometime overnight and the owner reported that they had left the keys in the vehicle. The investigation shows that other officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2700 block of Graham at 4:16 A.M. where that stolen Mustang was travelling eastbound and collided into a parked vehicle and a utility pole.
Two males were seen fleeing the accident scene on foot. The incidents are under investigation.
Paris Police are investigating six burglaries of motor vehicles that were reported on May 13th, 2015. The burglaries occurred at different times and in different areas of the city.
Paris Police are encouraging everyone to take due caution to not leave anything of value in plain sight inside your vehicles and to always lock your vehicles before you walk away from them. If you take away the temptation, then you will less likely become a victim.
