Royce James Roberts, 78, of the Globe community went home to be with his Lord and savior Tuesday December 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home Saturday Dec. 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Dickey and Rev. Brad Michael officiating. Burial will follow at Pyles cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday.
He was born November 8, 1934 in Unity, Texas the son of James E. and Clara Lee Magnuson. He moved to Fort Worth in the early 1950’s where he met the love of his life Jacqueline Jean Goins of Bridgeport, Texas. Together they raised two children before a job opportunity returned him to the Paris area in 1982. Royce made his living as a truck driver, retiring from Earthgrains, however, his true passion was farming and raising cattle. He achieved this dream in his retirement years. Royce was a longtime member of MaxeyBaptistChurch.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jacqueline in 2010 and his parents.
Survivors include children Rick Roberts and wife Linda of Watagua, Sherry Perry and husband Joe of Farmers Branch; grandchildren Melanie Hammel, John Roberts and wife Lorena, Craig Roberts; great grandchildren Andre Zermeno, Haley Zermeno, Gavin Roberts; and a sister Loy Fisher of Ft. Worth.

Jesse Lee Towers, Jr., 77, of Paris passed away Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Brentwood Terrace Health Care. Cremation arrangements were made by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
He was born November 1, 1935 in Paris a son of JesseLeeTowers, Sr. and Wandella Ingle Towers. He married JoAnn Lay in Paris in 1983. He served his country in the Army. He worked for the Texas Highway Department and was a member of Paris Church of God.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn, children Kelly Whitley and spouse Sherman, Carla Carmon, Lawrence Murray; 5 grandchildren Kory, Kameron, KaLeigh, Karli Jo, Krisanna; 2 great grandchildren Gavin and Alexis; step-children Debbie Johnson, Karen Murray, Danny Melvin, Charles Dale Melvin; brothers Eddie Towers and spouse Janice, Doug Towers and spouse Donna; sisters Jeanette Eydani and spouse Nasser, Cynthia Ann Chappell and spouse Willard; numerous nieces and nephews.

Lisa Michelle Foster, 47, of Paris passed away Wednesday December 19, 2012 at Brentwood Terrace. She was born on October 27, 1965 in Mesquite, Texas a daughter of James O. and Dora Mae Watson Foster. She was a Unit Secretary for the hospital.
She is survived by her children Leigha Musick and husband Frankie of Sumner and Whitney Stone of Paris; mother Dora Mae Foster; siblings Linda Kyle and husband Glen of Paris and Teresa Foster of Paris; grandchildren Steven Corsey, Jr. and Cameron Corsey; several nieces and nephews and aunts.
Memorial services will be conducted at Noon Friday, December 21, 2012 at the EmbersonBaptistChurch with Rev. Gary Reed officiating.
