Irene G. Eisele, 91, of Paris, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20th, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Paris with The Reverend Michael Hurst officiating. Entombment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel Gardens Mausoleum at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mrs. Eisele, the daughter of Blase & Joanna Ginther, was born Nov. 24, 1921, in Jackson, Michigan. She graduated from St. Mary’s Cathedral High School in Lansing, MI in 1939. In 1940 she was a stenographer for Capital National Bank in Lansing, and in 1941, she was secretary & director of Promotion for Radio Station WJIM in Lansing. In 1947, she was station manager for Radio Station WGFG, in Kalamazoo, MI and in 1951 became director of Television Traffic for WJIM-TV in Lansing. In 1954 she became traffic manager for KGUL-TV in Houston, TX.
On May 25, 1957 she married John L. “Jack” Eisele in Houston, building forty-four years of family and memories before his death on Nov. 8, 2001.
The couple moved to San Antonio, TX in June of 1961 and to Dallas, TX in May of 1964. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas where she served as bookkeeper for the church’s resale shop for 13 years, and was a member of the Vestry.
In 1981, they moved to Lake City, Colorado, where she and Jack owned and operated The General Store. She was an active member of the Pioneer Jubilee Women’s Club, and served as vice-president of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce.
In 1993, they moved to Paris, TX where she was a member of Paris Newcomers Club, Holy Cross Episcopal Church, was a volunteer at Christus-St. Joseph’s Hospital & Paris Regional Medical Center, and a volunteer for RSVP.
Irene enjoyed golf, cooking, gardening and needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Rev. Benjamin Ginther, Clement Ginther, Howard Ginther, Robert Ginther and Thomas Ginther, and a sister, Dorothy Ginther.
Survivors include two sons, J. Douglas Eisele & wife Karen of Houston and David Eisele of Paris, grandchildren, Ryan Eisele of Tulsa, OK, Nick Eisele of College Station, Rogan Eisele of Dallas and Raegan Eisele of College Station, a step-son, Peter Eisele & wife Mary & their children, Joseph & wife Arda and Heather & husband David of Colorado Springs, CO, along with numerous nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends.

Norman Enloe Hutchings, 85 of Paris, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Kirtley officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Hutchings and wife Sarah, David Hutchings and wife Diana, Cecil Hutchings and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Stefan Hutchings and wife LaRae, Jeanne Hutchings, Amy Young, Stacey Skates, Wendy May and husband Dustin, Jessica Hutchings, Erik Hutchings and wife Nickie, Kyle Hutchings, Chad Hutchings; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Palmer Hutchings, James Lewis Hutchings, Almond Hutchings, Laverne Profitt, Alta Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vessie Hutchings; parents, Norman Issac and Cora Hutchings; siblings, Lorene Satcher, Archie Hutchings.
Pallbearers will be Stefan Hutchings, Erik Hutchings, Kyle Hutchings, Chad Hutchings, Brad Francis and John McGee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryce and Keldon May, Shelby Boswell, Cameron and Austin Young, Christopher Eller.

HOLLEY HAMMOND ABELS, 88, of Blossom, passed from this life Monday December 17, 2012 at his residence, after a brief illness. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct graveside rites at 3:00 p.m. Thursday December 20, 2012 at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, with Rev. Jim Hilton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Holley was born November 30, 1924 in Blossom, a son of William Hammond and Elsie Holley Abels. He graduated from Blossom High School, then entered the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. For his honorable military service he received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon and Bronze Star, and the Army of Occupation Ribbon in Japan. He was a lifelong member of the Blossom United Methodist Church and for many years served as church secretary. Following his service to his country, he returned to the place of his birth and was a lifelong farmer. He also worked as a bus driver for both Blossom and Prairiland schools. He was a former Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts.
Holley married Lillie Mae Daniel on July 3, 1969 in Paris.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Anna Rebecca Dunagan; two brothers-in-law, Leonard Daniel and James A. Dunagan; a sister-in-law, Dovie Stephens; and two nieces, Rose Ann Figueroa and Betty Bybee.
Holley is survived by his wife Lillie, of the home; numerous nieces and nephews, including Liz and Phil Williams, James and Sharon Dunagan, John and Donna Dunagan, David Scott Dunagan, Mary Lancaster, Martha Stephens, James Stephens, Jackie Daniel, Cindy Daniel, Linda Cheney, Christie Daniel, and Bo Daniel; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and a sister-in-law, Thelma Daniel Chesney.
