The Grand Opening of the Aldi Grocery Store Thursday morning drew a large crowd of people. Pre-opening lines stretched from the store south past Hibbets and north around Hobby Lobby. Store officials brought in triple the number of carts for a normal Aldi grand opening and expect it to be a record opening day.
Aldi is focused on the price conscious shopper and focuses on saving you money. “We typically lower a family’s grocery bill by 30%,” said one Aldi spokesperson at the grand opening.
The large turnout suggests that Paris is curious and excited by the prospect of a lower cost grocery shopping experience.
