William Burle White 74, of Paris, died at 7:50 PM, Sunday, November 8, 2015 at his home. A graveside service is set for 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Red Hill Cemetery with Bro. Chris Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Burle was born August 21, 1941 in the Slate Shoals Community of Lamar County to Hassell Rufus and Sally Delener Pearson White. He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation as a lab supervisor after 34 ½ years of service. He also was a skilled gunsmith and knife maker. Mr. White married Kay White on November 21, 2008 in Paris. He was a member of Living Word Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Kay White; five children, Angela Smith, Crystle White, Jolinda Sopko, Jeanine Plummer, and Jody Carmon; eleven grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Cheyenne Smith, Morgan Sopko, Kory Carmon, Kameron Carmon, Karlee Carmon, Krisy Carmon, Kaleigh Adams, Cheyenne Plummer, David Sopko, and Lindsey Sopko; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann and Donna White.
Donna Jean Dietz Walker 66, of Paris, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 7, 2015. Funeral services are set for 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 12, 2015 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Evers officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Following the graveside service, the family will have a reception in Honey Grove. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Donna was born November 10, 1948 in York, Pennsylvania to Donald Juan and Jean Marie Beck Dietz. She married Bob Gene Walker on December 3, 1966 in Las Cruces, New Mexico and was a registered nurse receiving her nurses training at Grayson County Community College. She attended Pathway International Church of God and was an elder at the Sunrise International Ministry.
Survivors include her five children, Sandra Munn of Paris, Barbara Zuniga and husband, Chris of McKinney, Mike Walker and wife Grace of Honey Grove, Danny “Ray” Walker and wife, Suzzi of Windom, and Robert Walker of Powderly; two step-daughters, Karen Walker and Lora “DeeDee” Phifer; eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Krystal, David, Willie, Britney, Daniel, Aryn, and Jeffrey; and eight great-grandchildren, Pheonix, Cortana, Fernando, Madison, Haydyn, Brandon, Bryce, and Luna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Gene Walker on May 27, 2004.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Donald Ray Walker, Robert Walker, Danny “Ray” Walker, Daniel Andrew Walker, Jeffrey Johnston, Chris Zuniga, William Walker, and David Walker.
