An incident in the 2300 block of Hubbard Street resulted in the arrest of two men.
At 9:21 P.M. on December 30, 2015, Paris Police responded to a disturbance. The report states that officers located the complainant who advised that he observed a white Ford pick-up spin out of control and into a yard where it struck a trash can.
The victim walked to the vehicle to check on the occupants when a man pulled a gun and pointed it at him. The victim then walked back to his residence and waited for the police.
Officers made contact with 21 year old Connor Ryan Chipman (pictured above) and 19 year old Jimmy Cas Haley.
Officers reportedly observed a pistol in the waistband of Chipman’s pants and placed him under arrest. Chipman was identified as the person that had pointed the pistol at the victim. Chipman was charged with unlawful carrying a weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Haley was found to be the driver of the pick-up that had crashed into the trashcan. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
