The 2014-2015 Paris Junior College women’s and men’s basketball teams will be introduced to the community at Dragon Madness tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 7. The fun starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Hunt Center and will showcase the teams’ skills and feature performances from the PJC cheerleaders. There will also be giveaways of t-shirts, basketballs and gift certificates.
The Dragons and Lady Dragons will be introduced, and then hold intersquad scrimmages and three-point and dunking contests.
“Dragon Madness is our chance to show off the hard work of the Lady Dragons and Dragons basketball teams and let our students and the community see the results,” said PJC Women’s Basketball Coach Michael Madrid. “We want everyone to get excited about basketball season.”
“We know our fans enjoy coming out and showing their support,” said PJC Men’s Basketball Coach Chuck Taylor. “We are looking for good things from our players this year, and Dragon Madness will give everyone who likes basketball a preview.”
