Terry Hill, 70, of Paris, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Christus Saint Michael’s Hospital in Atlanta, Texas. A graveside service is set for 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Highland Cemetery in Deport with Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Hill was born January 11, 1943 in Glens Falls, New York to Andrew and Leona Davis Anslow. She graduated from high school and married W.L. Hill. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hill was a certified nurse aid at Paris Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Tami White of Atlanta, Tina and Jerry Nichols of Paris, Billy and Crystal Chisum of Blossom, Ken and Sherry Wilson of San Antonio, Dave and Terri Harris of New York, Charrity Herron and Rebecca Hill, both of Blossom; grandchildren, Aaron Sullivan, Tiffany Sullivan, and Michelle Michael, all of Paris, Brandy Hill of Greenville and Joseph Hill of Atlanta, Georgia; a great-grandson, Aden Hill; and one brother. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Sullivan.
Pallbearers will be Billy Chisum, Gary Sessums, Joseph Hill, Ron Herron, Jr., Ron Herron, Sr., and Aaron Sullivan.

Andrew Cayce Hammett, 91, of Blossom passed away Sunday February 24, 2013 at Clyde W. Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 27th at the First Baptist Church in Blossom with Rev. Mike Shupp officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor cemetery with Military Rites. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the church from 10 until 11.
He was born in Jamestown, LA a son of William Robert and Anna A. Stuckey Hammett. He married Gertrude (Smith) Crawford Oct. 24, 1992. He retired from the U.S. Army on March 31, 1967 after 21 years of service and was a truck driver after his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Blossom.
He was preceded in death by 2 daughters Jana Lynn Hammett who is buried in Germany and Bobbie Karen Hammett buried in Corpus Christi.
Survivors include his wife Gertrude; a daughter Sheri Love and husband Jerry of Whitesboro; step children Gary Crawford and wife Sharon, Linda Mowery and husband Frank of Paris; 5 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandson all of Whitesboro; 5 Step Grandchildren and 4 Step-Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
