The Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) has a regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, October 14th at 4pm.
On the agenda for the meeting is discussion and possible action on Sealed Bids to purchase four lots owned by the PEDC located at 1546 S. Church Street.
The board will also discuss possibly taking action on land acquisition for a future City of Paris EMS Station to be located in the Northwest Industrial Park.
Again on the agenda is the contract with Defenbaugh & Associates and final payment for the “forensic audit.” The board will also look at the invoice(s) for legal services from Jeff Moore, Attorney, Brown & Hofmeister, LLP.
Members of the PEDC board will examine Incentive agreements for T&K Machine and Potters Industries as well as discuss and possibly take action on release of incentive agreement payment to HWH/Rogers Wade that was approved at the August 21, 2014 called meeting.
PEDC Chair Stephen Grubbs (pictured) will also explain the “next steps” pertaining to the search for an Executive Director.
Also Rebecca Clifford will be presenting an addition to the PEDC policy manual of non-solicitation clause for PEDC personnel.
Finally, among other agenda items, the PEDC board will discuss and possibly take action on seeking Statement of Qualification from local attorneys to assist with legal issues pertaining to the PEDC organization.
