Eugenia (Jeannie) Dorrell Radford Brazile,90, of Paris, left this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday March 1, 2013 at Brentwood Terrace. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday March 4, 2013 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with Rev. Buddy Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Eugenia was born September 23, 1922 in Paris, a daughter of Talma S. and Minnie Ola Cunningham Radford. She graduated from Henderson High School, then began a career as Chief Operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone in both Henderson and Paris, which spanned some twenty years. She was a member of the Springlake Baptist Church.
Jeannie married Jack LaRue Brazile on September 28, 1946, in Paris. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2004.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Radford Sale, and a brother-in-law, Johnston J. Sale.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel LaRue Brazile, of Krum, Charles Radford “Chuck” Brazile, of Denton, and John Howard Brazile, of Paris; eight grandchildren, Jesse LaRue Brazile, of Pilot Point, Sarah Elizabeth Brazile, of Breckenridge, Danielle Cathleen Brazile Chisolm and husband Daryl, of Breckenridge; Timothy Jack Brazile and wife Angelie, of Lewisville, Aaron Christopher Brazile, of Breckenridge, Savannah LaRue Brazile, of Denton, Tuesday Dawn Beshires Cohee and husband Jason, of Keller, and Christopher Glen Beshires, of Garland; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a very special niece, Sandra Sale Cartwright and husband Bob, of Greenville.
Named to serve as pallbearers are Brad Coe, Bob Brazile, Mike Hansen, David Bush, Milford Townsdin and Ray Crowell.
