Holiday in Paris

ChristmasKickoff_22The annual “Holiday in Paris” kicked off this past Saturday with the Christmas Tree lighting.  Many businesses hosted Christmas Open Houses and Santa made his first appearance in the “Santa Hut” in the downtown plaza.

Here is a complete listing of all “Holiday in Paris” events.  For more information or tickets for events call 903-784-2501.

November:

Thursday November 20st

7:00 p.m. Community Thanksgiving Service: First Assembly of God, Lamar Avenue, Speaker Harold Williams of Palestine Baptist Church of Novice.  Pre-activities begin    at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, November 22rd

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. ”Christmas in Paris” Arts and Crafts Show at Love Civic Center, Just in time for holiday                shopping.

Thursday November 27th Thanksgiving Day

8:00 a.m.  Annual Turkey Trot, Trail de Paris, for more information see www.pfaparis.com

2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Santa in his hut.

4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Christmas in Fair Park, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.

3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   The Horse Flea -100 antique, vintage, and handmade wares vendors.  Paris Horse                                                                                 Auction just 9 miles west of Paris on Hwy 82

4:00 p.m.  Join the pre-parade party at the fountain in downtown Paris.  Come enjoy cotton candy, kettle                                                 corn, hot chocolate, clowns and many other activities as we prepare for the annual  Christmas parade.

6:00 p.m. “A Starry Night” lighted Christmas parade, Downtown Paris.

After Parade:  Santa in the Hut till 9:00 p.m.

 

Sunday: December 7th

1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Paris Council of Garden Clubs presents:  Christmas Tour of Homes.  Tickets $5 available at LC Chamber of Commerce
