Freda Blair, 74, of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Blair, the daughter of Clifford & Bessie Thurman Mullins, was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Ardmore, OK. She grew up in Childress, TX and attended school there.
Freda was a property manager, and for the last twenty years she and her husband, Bill, managed mini storage properties.
Her parents and daughter, Tami Horton, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Bill, son, Kevin Hester of Plano, granddaughter, Brandi Horton, step-son, Billy Ray Blair, Jr. of Indiana along with a host of other family members and friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Nash officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Samantha A. Burt, 90, of Paris, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Paul Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Burt, the daughter of Uriah & Gertrude McDonald Allison, was born Dec. 4, 1923, in Powderly, TX.
She was a homemaker, and loved cooking and caring for her family. Mrs. Burt was a member of Springlake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Clarence Burt, on Feb. 8, 1998. Also by brothers: Don Allison, Burlyn Allison, Jack Allison, Jacob Allison, Robert Allison and Rudolph Allison, and a sister, Ruby Caviness.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Lee Burt & wife Lynda of Fairfield and Marvin Ray Burt & wife Jan of Hot Springs, AR, three grandchildren, John Vincent Burt, Michael Dean Burt and Marvin Ray Burt, Jr., four great grandchildren, Rachel Louise Burt, Whitley Dawn Burt, Harrison Burt and Michael Ethan Burt, two great great grandchildren, Makayla and Layla Burt, a sister, Mattie Husted of Garland along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Phil Lynn Williams, 64, of Blossom, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at his home while surrounded by family. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Duane Hamil officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Phil, the son of James & Faye Blalock Williams, was born Aug. 8, 1949, in Deport. He grew up in Mt. Pleasant and attended Mt. Pleasant schools. At Paris Junior College he was a star basketball and baseball player. In 1969, he took top honors as the leading Dragon scorer for the entire basketball season.
Phil worked at Uarco operating a finishing machine until the plant closed. He then worked at Goodwin Graphics in Carrollton until his retirement. He was a member of The Cowboy Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Dunagan Williams, whom he married on Jan. 6, 1984, daughters, Becky Farris & husband Tom of Whitehouse, Regina Wilson & husband Hank of Whitehouse and Marci Thompson & husband Doug of Paris, son, Chad Nations of Woodville, grandchildren, Leslie, Kailyn, Jarren, Alisabeth, Lindsey, Haylee, Ryan, Bryce and Kayce, a brother, James Williams of Mt. Pleasant along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Doug Thompson, Tom Farris, Hank Wilson, Michael O’Neal, Mark Dunagan, Chad Nations, Jarren Farris and Ryan Walls.
